Chris Meehan founded Sentric Music Group in 2006 and has overseen the strategic growth of the company to the global, award-winning technology focussed independent music publisher it is today. Under Meehan’s supervision, Sentric has developed powerful proprietary technology, created a global royalty collection infrastructure and grown a team of over 100 employees that spans Europe, North America and APAC. Today, the company’s people and platforms drive publishing administration for a range of leading music companies that represents more than 4.4m copyrights globally.
Commercial success has continued with 31% YOY growth in 2022 and an exit of the business to Utopia Music in February 2022 followed by a further sale to Euronext listed Believe. Meehan continues in his role as CEO of the publishing group.
Meehan has personally struck 8 figure deals with leading global music companies and currently sits on the boards and advisory groups in the music industry including AMRA and the Liverpool City Region Music Board. He has appeared in Music Week’s 30 under 30 and Music Business Worldwide’s Young Executive List.
