Suzanne is a Chartered Engineer, as well as dual-qualified European and UK Patent Attorney and has recently joined the Scintilla IP team as Director of IP Strategy, responsible for building their first office outside of Scotland right here in the heart of Manchester.
Suzanne is a Chartered Engineer, as well as dual-qualified European and UK Patent Attorney and has recently joined the Scintilla IP team as Director of IP Strategy, responsible for building their first office outside of Scotland right here in the heart of Manchester.
Before Scintilla she was at GroundWOW, a high growth technology start up, managing GroundWOW’s patent and trademark prosecution activity, leading their IP strategy development.
Previously, she was responsible for operations, legal, IP and procurement at SeeChange technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arm, which was spun out of ARM in late 2021. Before joining the SeeChange business, she managed ARM’s global patent and trademark prosecution teams, during which time she supported a wide range of IP strategy and global IP policy development matters. She holds multiple NED and Board positions, including holding the recent position of President of the UK IP Federation, during which time Suzanne often advised the UK government in the field of UK Innovation & IP.
Currently Suzanne is on the Appeal Board of the Seashell Trust, a charity foundation school for SEN children and their families, based in Cheadle. She has been named as an IAM ‘World Leading IP Strategist’ for 2017, and as a Managing IP ‘Corporate IP Star’ in 2018 & 2019. She was a national award winner for her Corporate Diversity and Inclusion Leadership work in 2018.
